Weekend in Utah!

We were able to go to Utah this past weekend for John's wedding! John is Adam's best friend who he lived with all four years of college and are basically brothers. We flew out on Friday morning bright and early. We were able to go see Mike and Sherilyn that afternoon to help them set up for the fabulous Superhero "Pre Wedding Celebration". I am so sad, I didn't really get any pictures of it. That night we got to see some of our good friends! Mike and Sherilyn and their kids, of course, and then what I like to refer them to is "The Guys". These guys lived together, or lived next to each other for the whole four years of college. They are great friends who support each other and try to attend all of the major events that life throws our way. In this case, we were able to gather all except Levi and Dara. We sure missed them but know that they are on a crazy awesome adventure in Hawaii!

Friday night, my sisters came in to town around the same time the guys went to the bachelor party so we headed to the hotel and straight to the hot tub! Saturday morning we met everyone at the temple and witnessed John and Amanda's amazing sealing. We are so excited for John, that he was able to find Amanda who is the perfect girl for him! They are seriously perfect together! I'm sad I didn't get very many pictures of the wedding, I was too busy catching up with friends.

Saturday night, we were able to go see Adam's sisters in Salt Lake. They met Dax for the first time! They "ooed" and "awed" over him. He is so spoiled since he is the first grandchild on both sides of our family! They loved on him for a while before we decided it was time to go. It was so fun to see everyone's reactions meeting Dax for the first time this weekend.

Sunday I got to see one of my best friends and basically family, Hillary. I was so glad she was able to come see me and meet Dax! It was so good to catch up, even if it was only for a couple of hours. We then headed over to Mike and Sharilyn's to chat with out the craziness of the wedding. It was good to hang out with them! It's too bad we don't live closer, but hopefully we'll see them again in March! Our last stop before we headed to the airport was to see some of our good friends from Charlotte who happened to be in Salt Lake the same time we were! It was so great to see them! It made both Adam and I miss them and all of our group of friends we have in Charlotte. It is so great to have those couples that you can hang out with and get along with each of them! We miss you all!

All in all, it was a great but fast trip! I'm so glad we were able to support John on his big day! It was amazing to see all of our good friends that we haven't seen in a while and have them meet Daxton. They were all so excited to see him too! We definitely miss all of those guys!
