Friends are family that you chose

I recieved a call from one of my friends, Valpal, yesterday. It was awesome! It made me realize though how much I really do miss my girls in Rexburg. You see there are only a handful of girls that I feel like I could go to at any time. They were like more sisters, of course my sister was one of those girls. It was so great to lean on them, talk gossip, laugh hysterically with them, attempt to make crafts with them, and talk about our future plans together. I love them so much. I know I don't tell them enough and since we moved clear across the country I've been kind of awful at calling or skyping them. But now that I'm gone I wish I could have them all back! I miss the little things we would do in our apartments, or the times we would go out on a limb (which for rexburg is really just hitting the stump), or all the times we would laugh about the wierdest things.

LEXI LOTT:  We have 0 pictures together. That is pretty pathetic if you ask me. But I love you anyway!!

Thank you girls for making my time in Rexburg worth while, and so much fun!! I love you all!!

Too manly for a picture...

Things have been crazy around our house lately. Adam's work hours have increased. So now instead of working 8 to 5 he works 7 to 6. It's awesome. Not. It's good for our bank account but not so great for the time I get to spend with him. I know, I'm selfish. But It's ok for now. Last night he had more energy than usual so we made a good dinner, we went and worked out, and then Adam gave me a fashion show. Now that is not dirty in any way. It was actually hilarious. He came to me with a towel on his head like I do after I get out of the shower. I wish he would have let me take a picture, but sadly he thought he was too manly to have that picture posted.
Needless to say, I love my cute husband!

6 Months!

As crazy as this is, Adam and I have been married for 6 months already! It's so little time but it has happened so fast! We spent the weekend together and it was amazing! Friday, I was able to go to lunch with Adam. It was great to get to see him during the day. Then my wonderful husband came home with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me. We decided that we just wanted to stay home and cuddle up with a good movie and dessert. So we made Peanut Butter Pie Parfaits! They were oh so delicious!

Then on Saturday, Adam took me to Disney on Ice! I know, it was amazing!! But not just Disney on Ice, Princesses! It was The Frog and The Princess, then Cinderella, and then Tangled! It was so much fun! Yes, we were there with a million other little girls dressed up in their princess dresses, crowns, and glass slippers, but it was an amazing show! It was totally Adam and I.

It was such a great weekend with just the two of us. We didn't think about anything else but us and how lucky we were to have each other. Although, we didn't feel great all weekend so we just lounged around during the rest of the weekend. But being cuddled up to and in the arms of the greatest, hottest, most supportive husband out there was the best present of them all.

Our lazy weekend!

This past weekend Adam and I stayed in. We didn't have any plans, no place we had to be, and nobody calling us telling us where to go. We stayed home and watched General Conference, which was great! It was actually our first conference together... married anyway. It was great to have Adam to talk to about all of the talks. In between the sessions we place Just Dance and went on a walk! We had cake balls, crackers and cheese, and fruit for our snacks while we watched and cinnamon rolls for breakfast! It was a blast!
We have also started reading the Hunger Games. We are addicted. Adam makes me read to him while he falls asleep at night. :)  We can't wait for the movie to come out!
More good news! My internship was just approved, thank goodness, so I will be working on that and will have my degree officially by December!
