37 Weeks

We were lucky enough to get some pictures taken by our cute friend! 

How far along? 37 weeks  

Baby is the size of a: Winter Melon, 18.9 - 20.9

Best moment of the week: Cleaning/ decorating the baby's room with Adam. He has been so funny the past few weeks. He had me pack my hospital bag about a month ago. You would think it was me that is nesting like crazy... but at the moment it is totally Adam! I thought I had cleaned up the baby's room great, but then he told me that we had to empty the closet and basically only have baby stuff in there. I was a little shocked, but it was worth it! He was also the one who wanted to put every little thing that we want to get done before the baby on the calendar. His fatherly instincts are definitely coming out!  

Movement? Oh yes, he loves to stretch as far as he can in my tummy which then leads to my tummy turning in to weird shapes. 

Cravings? Fruit, specifically snickers salad! 

Belly Button: ... it officially became an outtie. Let's hope it goes back to normal after this little guy decides to make his entrance. 

Missing Anything? Being able to sleep through the night and not wake up 3-5 times at night. The dumb part is, I don't even sleep for a full 6-8 hours before I get up with Adam and make him his lunch at 4 am. I sleep about 4-5 hours, get up with him and then go back to bed for another couple of hours. The 3-5 times a night normally does not include the second round of sleep... just the first 4-5 hours.

Wedding Ring on or off? Off.  :(   I had to find a bigger ring that could fit for the next few weeks, but now that my fingers are actually swelling, that bigger ring isn't the best. Now I just don't wear a ring because I'm afraid it will get stuck forever. 

Aches & Pains: I had another painful contraction in my back the other morning. Adam rolled over and tried to help me breath through it, but man! Those things are painful! He did great though, rubbing my back when it was done and making sure everything was ok during the contraction. 

Flying While Pregnant: Flying was a piece of cake! Nobody asked for a note or stopped to ask me how far along I was! I wish I could still fly right now because I am missing/ missed two family reunions. Adam and I are the only ones who are not going to make it to my Dad's side of the family reunion. I'm super sad about it because I haven't seen all of those cousins for a long time. But that's what happens when you grow up and have to become a responsible adult (and only have like 3.5 weeks left until the due date of your first baby). 

Happy or Moody most of the time? I had a little beak down the other night... it was a long time coming though because I haven't had many during this pregnancy. I thought I was going to be an emotional mess! But actually I have kept it together way better than I thought I would! 

Looking forward to: Deciding on a name.... but that probably won't come until he's born. We have a list (that changes constantly) that we are going off of, but nothing has really stuck out too much. He'll have a name eventually I suppose!
