Three years ago today I started having contractions early in the morning and couldn't finish my good nights sleep. 12 hours later my sweet baby Daxton was born! It has been such a fun adventure with him ever since!
Daxton is learning how to live with a new baby brother and is doing great! He always tells me how cute the baby is. He asks to hold the baby. And my favorite part is when he tries to teach Cameron how to do something, lately it's been jumping. After he shows Cameron how to do it, Daxton kneels down to be at the same level and he says, "See Cameron? That's how you do it." Then he gets so excited when Cam attempts to do whatever it is Daxton just taught him to do! He's such a great big brother!
Daxton quotes movies like crazy. We got him a bike from Cameron after he was born. When we brought it in to him, he was so excited and started quoting Wreck It Ralph as he circled the bike. This kid cracks me up!
He loves space. And stars. And planets. He loves to tell you all about Jupiter, Mars, the sun and the moon. He's really good at "rocket boosters". He squats down and says, "rocket boosters, engage!" Then he jumps as high as he can!
The cold pool (swimming pool), the hot pool (hot tub), and the beach are some of his favorites! He loves swimming so fast, jumping into the pool and learning to "swim like daddy".
He still loves fruit and would prefer that over anything else. Hot "gogs" and samiches are on the list of okayed foods. Chicken and noodles (Chinese food) are asked for on a regular basis.
He is really good at Wii sports, especially bowling! He recently bowled a 247 all by himself. He loves golf, baseball, soccer.... Let's be real, he loves all sports!
He loves Disneyland, the zoo, and the park! His favorite tv shows are Miles From Tomorrowland, Mickeymouse Clubhouse, Special Agent Oso, Space Racers and Magic School Bus. His favorite movies right now are The Incredibles, The Lego Movie, Mulan, and Inside Out.
We are so thankful for this little boy! He is so caring and always wants to make sure you are ok. He is always so full of energy and provides much of our entertainment! We love him and we love being his parents! Happy third birthday Daxton!
