For Memorial Day weekend my brother and sister in law invited us to go stay in a condo in Indio, California with them! We were so excited to get away for a couple days, because we had been so stressed with figuring things out for our move and such.
Friday was just a relaxing night. We got there late afternoon, made dinner and then hit the pool! This place had a lazy river which I was SO looking forward to!
Saturday was Adams birthday!! We went to a local market and then once we were all way too hot to continue, we headed to the date farm! I had never tried dates before and was not impressed... But it was interesting to see how they were grown! We headed back to the condo, ate some food and then spent a few hours down at the pool.
We went in for dinner and had every intention of going back later that evening but we all just got caught up in chatting that by the time we looked at the clock it was a little on the late side for us. So we stayed in are cupcakes for Adams birthday, watched him open presents, and played games until about 2 in the morning! For some reason Daxton stayed awake with us the whole time. Whoops!
Sunday was another laid back day because Adam and I had to leave that afternoon to get back to phoenix at the decent time. So we just played at the pool some more. There was no complaints from me! I love playing in water!
All in all it was a really fun way to celebrate Adams birthday, Memorial Day weekend, and spend time with family!
